Japanese Knotweed Removal In Stockport
Japanese knotweed has pretty heart-shaped leaves and delicate small white flowers in late summer.
It can grow up to 2.4 metres tall in the summer months with some of the stems getting as wide as 2”
(50mm) thick within 4 months. It’s rhizome or (root) can grow to 3 metres deep and spread
horizontally by up to 7m. It has its own growth system underground much like the roots of a tree
(quite a colossal growth).
The rhizome can lie dormant for long periods of time fooling people in to believing that it has died
off only to reappear again because of the lack of treatment or inappropriate treatment methods.
Do you have a problem with this invasive weed in your garden? Or are you worried about it
encroaching into your garden from a neighbouring house or piece of land in Stockport? If so, then
