Removal of Japanese Knotweed in Merseyside
Unfortunately, if Japanese Knotweed is present on a site it will delay any development plans. As a result, an efficient company is required to treat the invasive plant using the most effective methods. In this instance, it was through the use of herbicide treatments via spraying and injection. As a result of carrying out the herbicide treatment, we were able to successfully remove the Japanese Knotweed in Merseyside. Meaning, the site was safe and development could continue. Moreover, between 10-20% of our work in the last 12 months has come from eradicating Japanese Knotweed in Merseyside. Therefore, we urge property owners in this area to identify Japanese Knotweed and be aware of the legal implications.
